This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Engaging in dramatic play at a table allows PreK students to interact with their peers, practice communication skills, and learn to cooperate and take on different roles.

With the curriculum rigor increasing tremendously, we often lose sight of letting children be children and what using their imagination does for their growth and development.

I plan on using this dramatic play table and accessories to encourage students to use their imagination, think creatively, and express themselves through various scenarios and characters. My hopes for this project are to provide students with another reason to love school and enhance their learning and social skills through purposeful play.
