Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The project aims to enhance literacy and foster social-emotional development through the provision of chapter books and small group games for our students. By introducing captivating chapter books and interactive games, we can ignite a love for reading, promote critical thinking skills, and encourage positive peer interactions in our classroom.
With your generous support, we will be able to expand our classroom library with a diverse selection of chapter books suitable for various reading levels and interests.
These books will not only provide students with opportunities to explore new worlds and characters but also help them develop essential literacy skills, vocabulary, and comprehension.
In addition to chapter books, we aim to incorporate small group games that promote collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills. From cooperative board games to interactive educational games, these activities will encourage teamwork and foster a sense of community among our students.
