Ignite Our Interest With Physical Books!

Help me give my students books to read at home while we are stuck at home without our school or classroom libraries!

My Students

My students are working hard from home, but most students only have 1-2 physical books that they took home with them before the school closure. My students have plenty of resources to read electronically with a lot of apps with a lot of books.

Now that we are in our second month of at home learning, my students would benefit from more engaging print material at home.

There is something a bit more magical with getting your hands physically on something to read instead of something to swipe.

My Project

Most of my students have read the books that they have at home. They have access to e-books but there is something more magical with having a physical book!

By getting these books into my students' hands, they will have a new spark in their reading lives to help them refocus and recenter on the importance of reading at home!

Students will get to choose from these titles for what would interest them to read at home. Thank you for helping me keep the passion of reading alive during these trying times.
