This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, creative, and full of potential. They bring a wide range of talents, ideas, and perspectives to the classroom each day. What makes them truly special is their determination to learn and grow—even when faced with limited resources. They rise to challenges with resilience and a genuine excitement for discovery.

These materials like markers and colored pencils will open the door to meaningful, hands-on science experiences that would otherwise be out of reach.

With tools like simple lab equipment, engineering kits, and interactive supplies, students will be able to explore scientific concepts through experimentation, collaboration, and problem-solving. These resources will help bring abstract ideas to life, allowing students to engage in real-world applications of the Arizona Science Standards—especially in areas like energy, motion, and engineering design. Our goal is to spark a lifelong love of science and give every student the chance to think critically, ask questions, and build confidence in their ability to make sense of the world.
