Help me give my students the best PE experience possible! New equipment will allow my students to continue to have fun learning new games and playing with their friends.
My school is filled with well driven, respectful, hard working students who all want to succeed. They have come to us from all backgrounds and although they grew up differently, they share the same goals. They want to learn an grow. My students are always eager to be physically active and try new activities. They are excited to improve everyday they have class.
Every student out of my 600+ students this year will experience a new love for an activity that they haven't learned before They work hard and push themselves even when they may not have been the best in the class.
They are always excited for physical education and that make s me want to provide them with the most opportunities possible.
My Project
My students always walk in the door with a big smile on their faces waiting anxiously to see what I have planned for them. I do my best to make PE FUN. My students are getting a workout every class without realizing it. I want to provide quality equipment to keep them excited to move. Half of our scooters are broken. My students love scooter tag, battle scooter ship, Scoot and grab and Superman. The foam frisbees are a safe, fun way for elementary students to learn frisbee skills. The students will use these not only for frisbee, but many other activities as will. The indoor soccer balls will give my kids a chance to learn soccer skills in the colder months and participate in a variety of super fun soccer lead up games.
I do my best to make PE be a major force in helping children socialize with others successfully and provide opportunities to learn positive people skills.
Every class my students have the opportunity to instill a stronger sense of self-worth based on their mastery of skills and concepts in physical activity. Before my eyes they become more confident, assertive, independent and self-controlled.
Unfortunately, equipment can get very expensive and many students will never get the opportunity to experience some games unless we have some assistance getting the equipment.
