Help me give my students the opportunity to operate iPads to broaden their technology background and enhance their engineering design thinking process.
I often call my students "Digital Natives" because they are the children of the Technology Revolution. I can't think of a better way for them to engage in their natural arena than by using an iPad. I love how they naturally embrace technology and are able to invent and create new designs and projects using technology.
My goal is for my students to engage in learning how to apply technology using iPads to broaden their engineering design thinking process.
I plan on having my students step into aviation by flying drones using the iPads. What makes my students special is how they seamlessly and naturally embrace the 4Cs (communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking) of learning in STEM class. They are onboard for STEM Challenges and are enthusiastic and eager to meet and exceed the goals set in STEM class. I am always genuinely amazed at how my students embrace learning and create new and exciting designs and projects.
