My Project

Please help me purchase a class set of the novel Because of Winn Dixie for my fourth-grade class! My students love to read and discuss what they have read with each other. Providing my students with a class set of novels will create a more collaborative environment during reading instruction and encourage students to dive deeper into literature.

Through the use of novel studies, I plan to increase student engagement and motivation when it comes to reading.

I also hope to increase student awareness of different experiences, emotions, and environments to foster their compassion for others. Thank you for helping me to create a fun and meaningful experience for my students!
