This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

If You Give a Student a Mouse, they might just ask for a mousepad, and a keyboard! I teach 9 classes, most of which have 35-40 students per class. All of our curriculum is online. We have 30 ailing computer, but, students cant use them effectively because of damage and missing parts.

The laptops are missing keys and the built-in touchpads are failing; the desktops don't have keyboards or mice.

I teach College & Career Exploration to all the 7th graders in the school, and Nutrition & Wellness to both 7th and 8th grades. Aside from accessing school platforms and the online textbook, we will use computers to research schools and careers.
