Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is filled with curious students who are eager to try new things. Every day they show up to school with smiles on their faces; I love their enthusiasm for learning!

My students are always looking for new ways to express their creativity!

My class includes 22 bilingual students and most of them don't have the resources to show their imaginative sides at home. Yet, they still show up to school ready to tackle any task.

In our class, we are a team, but most importantly, we consider ourselves a family! My students love to help each other grow and challenge each other to think outside the box!

My Project

Books are essential to every child's learning. One thing we have noticed is that many books! My students often hear translated versions of their favorite stories. I have carefully selected a variety of books that students will be able to enjoy.

My students deserve to have read some new books!

Though distance learning has been difficult, we are continuously learning how to make it meaningful. One part is doing daily read alouds with our class! It's like getting to hear a bedtime story with a book read by their teacher.
