My students need tablet computers to give them access to more opportunities with technology in all curriculum areas. They also need a new stereo so they can enjoy the listening center in the classroom.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kindergarten students are excited to learn and thrive. My students are beginning their education in a Title 1 school, meaning that the majority of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of the students in my room come from a background that lacks many opportunities to learn specifically when talking about technology.
Kindergarten is the first chance for many students to fall in love with learning.
I am excited to give students the best chance at learning this year.
My Project
We currently have two computers in the classroom for student use. I try to rotate students daily to give each student a chance to use the technology to learn. Some days we are not able to give every student a chance to use the computers. With the funding of this project we will be able to give 6 students access to the games, apps, and activities that we would otherwise struggle to provide.
We acknowledge the need to provide students many opportunities with various technologies and that is the purpose for this project.
We are also asking for a CD player that students will be using at the listening center in the classroom.
