This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These new bookshelves will help grow our classroom library. Our classroom library is a hot spot for students to pop a squat to read, with access to all the books nicely labeled. Unfortunately, due to the weight and amount of our books, I am not able to have all of them out at one time.
I would love for my students to have full access to every book I buy for their little minds to explore.
These new bookshelves, storage containers, and book displays will hold a variety of books to enhance my classroom library. It would be great to give my students easy access to books related to the content we are learning in all of our subjects. Amelia Earhart, Sonia Sotomayor, and MLK books have been their most recent book hunt to enjoy :)
