My Students

My students are so excited to be in school and have hands-on STEAM experiences in our Innovation Lab. We will delve into 3D printing, robotics, and programming, as well as many other hands-on projects. It is so fun to watch their faces light up when they see the results of their own creations.

The students are curious and creative, imaginative, and innovative.

I love hearing their new ideas. We are a diverse school with many cultures and languages, and STEAM experiences are great at bringing everyone together for a common goal.

My Project

My students love our STEM projects in Innovation Lab. They especially love to build with LEGO. Currently, all our LEGO supplies are sorted into individual bags for each student to use in order to limit sharing in order to keep them safe. However, this has stretched our supplies very thin, and students miss being able to work together.

These new LEGO kits and baseplates will be used to create and supply a LEGO wall that students can collaborate on.

Students can choose pieces to place on the wall, and while they aren't sharing pieces, they can still collaborate to create a larger design.
