My Students

Imagine, if you will, walking into a classroom where you can feel the LOVE for learning exploding! I am blessed to experience magical moments like this everyday!

Welcome to my First Grade classroom, here you will find students with a variety of academic abilities and social/emotional needs who are all accepted and share their passion for learning.

My First Grade students walk in each day with a refreshed heart. They bring millions of questions and a strong desire to learn.

My Project

There are several opportunities throughout the school day to for students to learn through play in the classroom. Indoor recess because of weather, Fun Fridays and Buddy Class Visits.

Sometimes creativity can be a struggle for students, who are ready for FREE play, but space is limited, but with these supplies my students will be inspired to twist, notch and stretch to create super-fun structures—from giant gear constructions to fantastic imaginary creatures, allowing their creativity to come to life.

Indoor recess, Fun Fridays and Buddy Class Visits provide an opportunity for learning through play. These fascinating manipulatives provide a wide range of graduated learning challenges. Students can build eye/hand coordination as they link, push and snap the pieces together. These materials will also allow them to then advance to constructing complex objects and designs.
