My Project

This year in 4th grade we have done a lot of project-based competency learning. Our projects have included iMovies, Readers Theatre, and podcasts.

While working on their projects, students are engaged learners and are developing collaboration skills in small groups.

As students finish up a unit or book club book, they have a list of activities they can choose from, or they can come up with their own ideas. Adding LEGO, a Create-A-Chain Reaction kit, and Magna-Tiles to our classroom will increase their project options. Adding math games will also increase student engagement as we practice and review skills we have learned.
