The school I am teaching in is in an urban area. The students in my school are extremely motivated to learn and have made tremendous progress this school year. They love to read and write and have started wanting to type and publish their stories! They look forward to hands-on activities during math and science.
My students deserve the best education possible and appreciate the support they receive from family, friends, and the community.

My Project
When I asked my students if they loved to read many of them said, yes but I don't know how. By providing my first grade students with a leveled library they will be able to find a book that "fits" them.
Reading should be fun, fast and easy!
This is my motto for students looking for a book to read for enjoyment. With this project I will be able to direct students to a collection of books that are on their reading level but still allow them to find the ones they are interested in reading.
