This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Susan B. Anthony said, "FAILURE IS IMPOSSIBLE." Unfortunately, it is possible when the basic resources needed are not available.
My students are amazing!
They are bright and clever and exceptionally talented and creative. My students are in their junior year and are all college bound. My students attend a NY public school located in an urban center. My students come from homes that survive under the poverty threshold.
My Project
With the resources that I have requested my students will be able to incorporate what they learned into concrete real life activities. Also, my students will be able to use their talents to create student work that shows understanding, creativity and wit. The resources that I am requesting will motivate my students to work even harder because they will not get frustrated that they do not have the resources they need.
My project will help students think outside of the box and will teach them the skills that they will need when they attend college.
I want my students to be able to take on any project and achieve success because they are equipped with the tools that are necessary.
