Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year I won't be able to personally meet all of my students as some parents have opted for remote learning only and some for blended learning. However, I'm optimistic that one day we will be able to gather together and physically meet. Despite the circumstances I am still very eager to meet all of our Kindergarten and Second grade students.
The children entering our grades have expressed that they share the same passion in learning and growing.
I'm hopeful that regardless the situation, we will have a fun and successful school year.

My Project
My students need engaging materials to work and play with. Through centers, children learn how to problem-solve. My students will be able to work and understand different concepts. The Alphabots, place value centers and other products will do that and so much more.
This year will be different.
We will try our best to provide individualize centers for students as they won't be able to work in groups. Nevertheless, they need hands-on activities, as they provide valuable experiences. My students have a lot of energy and it would be great if they could use that energy during centers! Each child will be given their own center, which will then be sanitized so that another student can enjoy. We hope you can help us activate our already active learners!
