This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a diverse population of students in an ICT classroom. Within the classroom, our students include students with different learning disabilities and English language learners from many different cultural backgrounds and educational needs. We are a title I school. I have been teaching 6-8th grade ELA as a special education teacher in an ICT classroom setting for the last 5 years.

Every year my three classes very quickly go through pencils, printer paper and ink With these materials I am able to provide access for all of my students to learn.

I am constantly printing differentiated materials for my students such as checklists, graphic organizers, etc. My students also fly through pencils as they are writing away in ELA. Your donations towards these essential items will be very much appreciated in our ELA classroom.
