My students are amazing and unique, each and every one. I love them dearly and have missed them SO MUCH this year! I cannot wait to see them in the clinic this fall!
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I will be providing treatment and medications in multiple locations.
In order to have access to ice for injuries, I will need a freestanding Icemaker for the clinic. Having this ice maker will prevent people from having to enter the sick person area for ice and will reduce cross-contamination.
My Project
Children get bumps, bruises and breaks all the time! In a setting where I can't stock and dispense pain-relieving medications, Ice is a wonderful tool to reduce pain and swelling to make students comfortable and able to continue to learn.
Having access to clean Ice in any location will help me provide safe and effective treatment for bruises, pains, and sprains while reducing cross-contamination in the clinic.
My previously funded projects helped me to provide clean water to our students, a rolling medication cart, portable cots and so much more. I cannot thank everyone enough for contributing to my clinics this year. I look forward to seeing everyone's smiling eyes soon!!
