Ice Cream for Pre-K!

My Students

My PreK students are among Georgia's earliest learners. They are also the youngest of close to 900 students in our school. Like many four and five year-old children, they are creative and curious thinkers with a desire to figure out how the world around them works. During small group or center time, they can constantly be overheard saying, "Let me try it myself!" Their eagerness to complete tasks independently is exciting to watch. These young learners love to play and explore.

My Project

Each year we choose a fun theme for our Pre-K classroom. Students entering our classroom for the 2021-2022 school year are in for a treat as we are having an ice cream themed classroom!

My students need items such as an ice cream stand and ice cream cones and scoops to add to our dramatic play area.

These materials will provide hands on learning opportunities for my students as they engage in imaginative play and develop language and literacy and math skills while taking orders and scooping up ice cream!
