My Project
My students come to speech therapy ready to learn.
They are hard-working and put forth their best effort to complete work, however, they all struggle to be on grade level.
They recognize that speech therapy is a service that will provide them with learning strategies that they can apply in the classroom, and eventually carry over to the real world.
They deserve the opportunities to increase their knowledge, and not be put down for not understanding the material as quickly as those around them.
I am working with antiquated and unreliable technology, which interferes with the smooth delivery of instruction. An iPad will allow for interactive and fun ways to engage my students during sessions.
I can engage my students with captivating multimedia teaching tools that bring the joy of reading and learning to every student. These online resources can help ignite students interest and raise achievement.
The students can enjoy engaging stories and activities that allow them to practice using reading comprehension and vocabulary strategies and give them access to the school curriculum.
