My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income/high-poverty school district, and my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. To combat the many challenges they face, I am constantly looking for ways to keep my students engaged in the classroom setting.

I strive to give my students the tools they need in order to be successful in school.

My students come to school every day, each with different challenges, but are always ready to try new things in order to grow both personally and academically. I want to give my students new experiences that they don't get at home.

My Project

My students will be using the iPad during reading, writing and math. I will be integrating this technology into instruction to use for both remediation and extension to meet the various needs of all my learners. The children will use the iPads to practice reading, math facts, coding and so much more! They will also be learning the technology skills that are necessary in this 21st century.

Your donation will help replace our out of date and non working iPads!

My children love practicing their skills with the iPads and Osmo kits our class has. Unfortunately, we don't currently have enough iPads to access these resources. Having a new iPad will mean that every child will have the opportunity to practice our 21st Century skills! This will also allow my students to become more knowledgeable in using technology they will encounter their whole lives. Thanks!
