iCan With An iPad!

My students need two new iPad minis and protective cases to practice math and literacy concepts in fun and engaging ways.

My Students

My students are creative, curious and motivated. My students are a diverse learning community that works together and are motivated to learn together.

Students of all abilities work together in our inclusive classroom.

At our school, all children are honored and seen as a gift. The students work together, learn together and have fun together in our classroom. My students are respectful of each other's differences. They work very collaboratively and enjoy sharing their materials with each other in the classroom.

My Project

The new iPad minis will allow more of our students use technology to play engaging educational games to reinforce literacy and math concepts learned in class. We currently have 5 classroom computers, but we currently share an iPad with 3 other classrooms in our grade level. It is difficult for students to have access to audio books, spelling practice, and educational apps that allow them to practice important skills. Having our own dedicated iPads will allow more students to access technology.

My students love playing educational games and using technology, so let's put the technology to good use!

Having two iPad minis will allow my class to break into small groups and will allow more students to work on independent activities while we are focusing on enriching and differentiating instruction to meet the needs of each individual student.
