Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach special and general education to preschoolers at a Title I school in California. Although my class is very diverse, they all share one quality: the excitement and eagerness to learn new things.
Early education is very important to children because it helps build a strong foundation that they will need to thrive as they continue their educational journey.
Throughout the school year, my students build strong characters and independence. It's rewarding to see how much they've developed and to know I am introducing the path to success.
My Project
We used to have an iPad in class which the students loved using. They would love using it for various purposes including recording, creating videos and connecting ti to our projector. Unfortunately, our iPad was stolen from our classroom.
iPads in the classroom will help our students have fun in class by learning how to access higher education through technology.
Students love technology and they have to learn how to use it appropriately and since as they get older they will need to use it more often. In the classroom, they will have the opportunity to do so since it will be monitored by a teacher.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
