I have been teaching for eighteen rewarding years at the same amazing school.
I teach at an urban school where all students are on a free/reduced lunch. Recently, our school has been implanting Whole Brain Teaching to help our students successfully engage in their education.
My Project
I am requesting a personal iPad, a protective case, and a Whole Brain Teaching textbook to help grow and develop my skills in Whole Brain Teaching. This is my first year utilizing some of the Whole Brain Teaching strategies in my classroom and I can already tell there are huge benefits from the program.
My students are engaged in lessons and my classroom management is improving tremendously.
I want be able to watch Whole Brain Teaching Webinars and videos to help better prepare me on different Whole Brain strategies to use in my classroom. During Professional Learning Community meetings, I would use my iPad to share resources and/or videos that I have found with my colleagues. The case would insure that my iPad stays safe for many years of use and also has a built in kickstand for easy viewing of the videos and Webinars. The textbook would help me research and develop new techniques in Whole Brain Teaching.
With your help, I will be able to utilize Whole Brain Teaching more thoroughly in my classroom.
