This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Next school year, I will be teaching a new set of seniors in IB history II. I decided that in order to give the students agency and choice, I would ask the current juniors what topics they want to cover next year. The votes are in--Industrialization and the Cold War! I am so glad that I know now what my students are interested in learning next school year, but that also means that I need resources to best support their learning.
This project seeks to acquire various texts related to Industrialization in preparation for next school year.
I have the remainder of this current school year and the summer months to prepare for the class of 2025, and I believe the resources in this project will help me to do just that. The texts cover myriad aspects of the topic, and will provide students with inquiry-based instructional opportunities. The IB history paper 2 assessment is no joke, and we need all the help preparing as we can get!
