I pride myself on being a role model for my students. One way to demonstrate this is by being organized. I want to pass this skill to my students.
I currently teach over 100 math students at a middle school in Iowa.
My students often struggle with keeping their materials organized. As a team of teachers, we also have student led conferences where students share various items they are working on in school. They also share their tests with their parents at these conferences. Having crates to help with this organization would be ideal.
My Project
I would like to put a crate together for each class that would allow students to store their important tests and papers. Keeping information in one location and by class period would help to create a nice overview of what students are doing when it comes to conference time.
I would love to have individual classroom crates with hanging folders to help students with organization of testing materials and major classroom items.
Setting an example and teaching students how to be better organized is an important life skill.
