The first day of school is around the corner, and there are a lot of students who are fretting about this day. We are a Middle School, and starting this journey can be hard to make friends for some students.
Making friends is easier if students are engaged in a Cup Stacking game, or working together to figure out a puzzle, planting bonsai seed etc.
as they are making new friends. This year we will focus more on team activities to help our students to make friends.
The goal of this project is to design several different stations where our students can select the station that speaks to their interests. These supplies will help in designing, a bonsai plant, cup stacking and game table station to start our project. Learning about each other helps in developing empathy and overall, supports our students social emotional learning.
