My students need a Dash and Dot Robot to learn to code as they play with their new robot friend. They also need a printer with ink to display their amazing work in the classroom.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are bright and enthusiastic students ready to learn. My class is located in a low income area. A large percentage of the student population qualifies for free lunch. My students are not provided with opportunities to experience new things.
My class is composed of 27 students in an ICT (Integrated Cooperative Teaching) class.
My students are bright and very dedicated students. My students need real life experiences in order to make real life connections. I will like to provide that exposure for them. I want to get them ready for the future.
My Project
I would like to expose my students to coding. I would like all my students to be provided the opportunity to use technology. Even though the school is located in a low income area I would like to provide the opportunity to try coding while and enjoying themselves. My students will discover a new world of play and learning while using The Wonder Workshop Dash & Dot Wonder Pack. In addition to The Wonder Workshop Dash & Dot Wonder Pack I will like to give my students the opportunity to present their classwork in a presentable manner. If my students would like to preserve one of their pieces of work, tape with lines will just not do. The printer and ink will allow my students to type their work and print out their amazing work. This approach will expose them to typing and printing. Which will benefit them in the future.
My students feelings, needs, and achievement are very important for me.
I would like all of my students to have the opportunity to gain knowledge. I would like my students to feel that their work is important.
