This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from a variety of backgrounds, and celebrate many different holidays. Unfortunately, most of my kids are unable to receive presents or gifts for financial reasons. My coteacher and I would like to gift each of our students his or her very own holiday miracle. Since we don’t have working water fountains in my school, my students never have water to drink. Our plan is to give each child his or her own personalized water bottle. This way the students will always have something to drink. In addition, we want to give each child a soft blanket to help keep them warm at home!
