Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

With a lot of personalities comes lots of fun! Our kids are from a low-income neighborhood and categorized in low-incident self-contained classrooms under Special Education.

Most of our kids need hands-on experiences, rigid routines, and practices in order to reach their goals both academics and skills that will help them through their lives.

My Project

Our room has one spy book where kids really spend time with. Unfortunately with the pandemic, we try to space them out and limit kids' interaction when playing with each other.

These books not only engage them socially with one another but works out their attention span.

Most of my kids cannot focus for more than 5 minutes. Our only I Spy book worked miracle with kids attention and spirit of good competition they sometimes conquer the books challenge together which makes it more effective when kids initiate playing as a team.
