Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Visuals help students picture their learning and support them as they share aloud for class discussion. Classroom discussions are essential for a positive learning environment.
These large print floor mats will be a teaching tool for my students to strengthen their skills with the letter sounds, number sequence, and counting.
I look forward to challenging my students on how to chart 10 more or 10 less with any given number on the 120-chart. On the alphabet mat, students will be able to identify initial, medial, and final sounds. With the number line, students can count forward, backward, skip count, and recognize patterns. The zipper pouches will keep our resources organized.
