My Project
Having a space to call your own is something that everyone can relate to. For some people it's their house and for others it's their car. For pre-teens and teenagers, they spend hours making their rooms reflect who they really are.
As a teacher, I believe that giving students an opportunity to personalize their space in the classroom contributes to them buying into the greater classroom community.
Currently my students are using recycled milk crates to store their belongings during the school day. I am looking for an opportunity to upgrade.
My project seeks to replace these milk crates with sturdier, more long-lasting storage that my students can call their own and be proud of. It will also help them stay more organized which will in turn help to create a cleaner learning environment. Thank you for taking the time to consider my project.
