Help me give my students books in which they can see themselves! We serve a very diverse group of students. We want all of our students to see themselves in the lead roles in the books they read.

My Project

We serve a very diverse group of students in all ways. Our students come from many different backgrounds, countries, racial groups, and religions. We are hoping to add books to our second grade library that allow our students to see themselves as heroes! Each of the books selected has a diverse protagonist. The students will go on fun adventures, solve great mysteries, learn about friendships, and see that everyone can lead! Our students have loved the books we added earlier in the year.

We are excited to bring even more books in which our students can see themselves.
