Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a group of wonderful 5th graders in Bridgeport CT. My students come from all different backgrounds and share their beautiful culture with our classroom family. I'd like to fill our classroom library with books that they can relate to.

I want my students to feel seen and heard within the stories I share with them.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase their understanding and love of reading but also instill the lessons of kindness, caring and compassion for others. Let's start a kindness ripple throughout our world. My students are so ready for that challenge!
