Every day, I am surrounded by the most amazing students! Even though they come from a variety of backgrounds, including race, religion, and family structure, we all work together to create a unique learning experience. We work hard at instilling a love of learning and exploring that will last a lifetime.

My Project
Do you want to fly a Boeing jet? Ever wanted to step inside the world of dinosaurs? What about holding a beating heart in your hands?
With augmented reality, my students will get the chance to experience possible STEAM careers literally in the palm of their hands.
Because I want my students, especially my female students, to step into the possibilities of STEAM careers, I would like to provide merge cubes and games. Merge cubes are holographic toys that allow users to physically hold and interact with 3D objects using augmented reality technology. My students can step into a cell with Cellular AR; learn how to create shapes with Shapes; discover the world of dinosaurs with DinoDigger and Dino Trek; fly a Boeing jet with Mentour Aviation; and learn about body systems with Anatomy AR! From science (Juno Mission to Mars), to math, to reading (57 North), to social studies (National Parks) the possibilities are endless with their library of games! Just imagine going to Orangutang School or on a Shark Encounter!
To further my female students' interests, I am also requesting "Women Who Dared" and "Galaxy Girls" to go with our current book "Women in Science."
By providing the chance for my students to experience a vast array of exploration, their curiosities will be peaked as the doors to their futures are opened. Thank you for making these opportunities possible.
