My Students

Teaching at a school with high poverty levels is one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had. My students are very appreciative of everything that is given to them. This very importantly includes the donation of people's time. The best part about my students is that even though our classroom is in need of some items, they are always willing to raise money or collect food to donate whenever their family is able to. They are a special group of kids who would really benefit from this project.

My Project

I am looking for some books that are age appropriate for my students to read. These books will be able to help my students if we are in school teaching live next school year, or could be used in a book exchange if we are participating in remote learning. I also envision using these books to do virtual readings if we cannot get together as a whole class.

No matter if we are together or apart next school year, in person or virtual learning, my students need accessibility to reading material made for their age level.
