My students need a wireless color printer so they can print the books they create on ipads in our K-classroom. They could share their books with their families at home.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students have the wonderful opportunity to work on ipads in our kindergarten classroom. The books they create must be left at school. With a wireless printer they could print them out and take their works home to share with their families.
My students attend a school that is 96% low socioeconomically disadvantaged.
They do not come from homes that have technology. My children love to work on the classroom ipads. They beam with pride when they create something and are eager for me to see it. A Wireless printer would allow them to put in their hands what they can only see on the screen.
My Project
With a wireless printer my students can create books with apps on the ipad and illustrate them in color. Then they can take their works home and read to their family. A wireless printer would give us the ability to bridge the learning from school to home. Imagine the pride my students will feel when they see their creations printed out in color to take home and read to their families!
This donation will enable my kindergarten students to create a book at school on the ipad and print it out in color and take it home to show their family.
They do not have ipads at home. They are thrilled to work on them at school. Imagine the pride they will feel when they get to see their online creations in colorful print!
