My Project

I spend my day as a sixth grade literacy and social studies teacher. My population is very unique and diverse. Each student has different skills, strengths and learning styles. I love getting to interact daily with these dedicated, compassionate, growing minds. I am asking for a variety of new books for my students.

Building a love and passion for reading in middle school students is my calling!

I work hard to keep my students interested, intrigued and excited about school and learning! I strive to keep all lessons engaging and fresh. Providing students with choice and voice in what they read and how they show what they know, is an incredible way to see each student's personality and provide them an outlet for creativity.

My students deserve the best and I will continue to provide them with all I can.
