My Students

My students are Black, Brown, and Indigenous children who are determined to gain an engaging experience in learning. These kids need Student-Choice Projects and tools. My kids are funny, thoughtful and clever researchers. These STEM Gardeners, second language learners and Special Resource kids need a level playing field! This is where you come in!

My Project

Students requested that they choose the type of activities that will help them learn. Students in my ELD are very specific about the kinds of grade level activities that show sensitivity to their culture.

My ELD students listed the of names of the games they need to be mailed so they can pass school-based Smarter Balanced and English Language Proficiency Assessment for California.

Long Term English Learners are using diagnostics to determine the exact skills they need to practice before returning to school to pass specific Math, Science, History & Language questions.
