I Need Help Creating Writing Portfolios for My Middle Schoolers

Help me give my students filing folders so they can create writing portfolios and track their growth!

My Project

My 8th-grade students will spend a lot of time writing this year, and they need a place to keep their drafts and final drafts until June. I would like to offer a filing system in my classroom that they can use to leave samples of their work. We will return to their writing samples often to proofread, edit, revise, and reflect.

By the end of the year, students will have a showcase of their written artifacts to keep!

We will keep track of their data, and ideally, by the end of the year, they will see how much their writing has strengthened and improved! I would also like to reuse the filing folders year-to-year so they can be recycled for each class of students and not wasted.
