My students need various supplies here that are everyday materials to most. We need paper for open responses, as well as markers so that we can write on the board.
Do you remember when your teacher would let you write on the board, or write something on the board you needed to copy? My students need to have the same experience and need markers and paper with which to write and participate in class. Together, we can ensure my students have what they need!
I realize that many users probably say they have the best students, but I believe that I really do!
My students live in a low to middle income town and some have little opportunity to progress outside of their school. My school intern has limited funds available to complete all desired school projects. Even though our school lacks the funding to purchase the items I am asking you to donate, I can say that our school takes the time to help our students grow and promotes learning above all else. We are a middle size high school, with about 1200 students. My classes are small moderate size and contain between 25 students. My students are eager to learn and eager to develop their young minds and be the best that they can be. With your help, I believe that our students can reach their goals and accomplish their dreams.
My Project
With these markers and paper, my students will finally have what they need so that they can have tests, copies, and daily handouts to ensure their learning environment is well balanced and always available for my students.
This may not sound like much to you, but to me and my students, these are essentials that we are missing on a daily basis. I find myself choosing between what worksheets my students can complete because of printer ink. With this cartridge, my students will have enough ink to make it through the school year and know that they can always ask me anytime for what they need printed off.
This project will help give my students essential supplies that they will be able to use to complete daily work and to be able to achieve all of the work that is expected of them. Together, we can make sure that these students have paper in their hands and can put their pencil to the paper, and shoot for the stars!
This project will ensure that I have the necessary items I need to ensure my students receive the best possible instruction and supplies daily.
