This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello and thank you for looking,

Having to sit still for hours to take a standardized test is HARD.

After teaching third grade this year, I have learned students struggle to sit still for long hours. Students not only take a state-mandated test at the end of the school year, but we test throughout the year to prepare the students for the test. We spend hours upon hours teaching the material and expecting students to sit still and pay attention. I would like to have flexible seating in my classroom so that students can move a little while they're trying to learn.

I am asking for help with the more expensive items.

Wobble chairs for every student. I am asking for two different sizes to accommodate all of the students.

Surf desk for twenty students, so they can sit on the floor and work. This could be a whole group or partners.

Stools for my friends who may want to be grounded to the floor.
