My Students
My fourth-grade students are active, fun-loving nine and ten-year-old children. These students love to play, create and entertain each other. They love free time and playing with their classmates. They love using technology to help them learn. They are very independent learners. These students are proud of their classroom and classroom materials. They work hard to have a clean positive work environment. These students deserve to have the best because they work so hard on a daily basis!
My students experienced Hurricane Michael first hand last year.
The new flexible seating will give our classroom a more comfortable "homely" feel. The playground balls will allow the students to relieve built up stress and have fun with their peers.
My Project
I am asking for flexible seating for my classroom. If I receive your donations, my students will receive beanbag chairs, wobble stools, and cushion seats. These seats will allow my students an option of where they sit to work. I have also asked for playground equipment to help my students have options for getting the proper exercise needed at school.
Students at this age have lots of energy that needs to be released.
Flexible seating allows students to move around while they work but still allows them to focus on the task at hand. The playground equipment is needed so the children have something to play with outside. They loving playing the games taught in PE and I love to promote exercise.
