My Students
My students are smart, curious, creative, funny, hardworking, and friendly towards one another. My 19 students represent families all over the world, as well as a variety of learning levels.
My school consists of about 1,000 students of diverse backgrounds.
This can make teaching challenging because of the diverse learning abilities, but my students are always eager to learn. My students continually face obstacles head on and continually strive to do better. Their drive and passion for learning is amazing!
My Project
Currently, ADHD has greatly impacted the classroom. These students find it difficult to focus because they have high energy levels. Flexible seating would allow my students to channel their energy and stay focused. I would like to create a classroom that engages all students and creates a comfortable environment. In order to do that, I need your help. I would like to purchase flexible seating to help students focus in the classroom. Flexible seating increases motivation uses up excessive energy, students are committed to learning, and behavior improves. Some students need the option to move while working. These students will benefit the most from the wobble stools. I have witnessed first hand the struggle in today’s classroom and I want to change that. I understand not all students can learn sitting in a desk. I want to create an alternative-seating classroom to make all students available to learn.
