Our school is a safe place for many of our students. Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds.
One hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
We also have a backpack pals program that sends food and snacks home to families over long weekends and holidays. Many of the students only have one parent or guardian at home and have many adult responsibilities. Despite their hardships, they are joyful, appreciative, and eager to learn!
For many students who attend our small school, this program will allow them to practice their math skills at home that enhance the curriculum that was taught during the day's lesson. Each student is provided an iPad and internet service to make this successful at home. All students will benefit regardless of their academic ability, as this program is adapted to their independent level. Students will be engaged and excited to practice their math skills with this exciting and meaningful online math program!
