My students need a speaker to amplify the technology volume during whole group lessons. Our headphones also take a lot of wear and tear when being used for two classes of students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Recovering from Hurricane Harvey with a high percent of the students on this campus receive free or reduced-price lunch. Most are also from single-parent households, with several being raised by a guardian. Their hunger for learning shows daily.
The gaps in learning are obvious and at times overwhelming; however, they can achieve when given the materials they need.
Our students rise to the daily challenges set before each of them. The gaps will decrease and they will achieve great things this school year. This year will end successfully!
My Project
Teaching large numbers of third graders can be challenging when there is a need for technology. Having a bluetooth speaker to project the sound will allow students to stay focused on the presentation.
Distractions decrease learning.
If students have the audible resources for learning, these distractions dissolve. The adjustable volume settings will allow for the perfect level of audio to grasp and keep third graders attention.
Head phones are a staple in any class room. Ours have been shared between the students in two classes. New head phones will allow for more students to complete independent tasks that require individual focus.
