I Had It, No That's Mine!

My Project

The second graders at my school are departmentalized. In the morning I teach my homeroom Math and Science or Social Studies, while the other teacher teaches reading. After lunch we switch. They share desks and utensils, which creates losses and mishaps during transition.

I would like to add an additional storage shelf in my classroom to store text books, folders and personal utensils.

I believe this will cut down on arguments and accusations as each students has their own personal space. Seven and eight year old's are learning what it means to have a friend. They also learn responsibility when they put their belongings away daily and keep it clean.
