This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching is ever evolving and never the same year to year. As students change from one semester to the other so does the challenges. Paramount to teaching science is the ability to understand and communicate. Help me bridge the language gap that is now a barrier to effective teaching.
A dedicated, non wifi reliant translator will help me communicate instruction and content in my classes with my English language learners.
It will also alleviate the distraction of using an app on a phone and will also allow for the use between students without the worry of the entrapments of social media, news or ad pop ups. I am also requesting necessary consumables in the form of ink, and paper which will enable me to print for each student required readings and assignments so that they can work at their individual pace.
