This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are very hard workers that often times need concrete examples and demonstrations in order to fully understand any work through more difficult concepts. With Geometry in particular my students struggle with constructions. This is compounded with the inability for some of them to see from a distance.

No matter your seat, you should be given the opportunity to fully see and be involved in instruction.

These larger compass and drawing tools will allow my students to see from anywhere in the room, regardless of where they are sitting.
